Before the sunset shown in yesterday's photo, I walked around the Mendocino Headlands State Park which has numerous trails and scenes like this.
This was captured in Mendocino, California.
Located in the Plaza Major in Madrid, Spain, the Casa de la Panadería is one of the most striking buildings in the Plaza with its remarkable facade depicting various mythological figures, the work of Carlos Franco. Construction of the Plaza took place in the late 1500s and early 1600s. The Casa de la Panaderia originally served as the main bakery for the city. This was taken on 28 February 2020, about two weeks before Spain went into lockdown due to COVID-19. We were in Madrid from 25 - 29 February, about the time that the virus was starting to spread around the country. We took the night train to Lisbon, departing Madrid on 29 February. At the time we had no idea of what was to come, and we had planned this travel well in advance of the time we were there, so we felt that we got lucky on the timing.
